Roger that. This is a great piece of history. This is a rare bird.
The 1986-1987 Dia-Compe FS883's had the old school Weinmann (vertical) adjuster and the allen-wrench adjustable pivot bolts. 1988 began the 2nd gen Weinmann (horizontal) adjuster and a departure to the old cone and locknut pivot bolts. The FS883s had a quick release lever respective for the front (brake cable housing nested into recess) and for the back (brake cable secure nut and bolt).
