The rims are modular, hence the screws joining two haves to make the rim up.

Hey Larry, I'm think there weep holes under the seat stays or bottom stays on this frame when you showed it to me? I maybe incorrect, but I do remember it being in very nice condition.

That was until a OG chrome Loop Quad fell into my lap. Defiantly rare, but they were made. I don't know about these later frames, as I have been told that as you said the process was to costly for SE.
As for tell tail signs of a replated frame, there is usually some loose scale that will jingle around inside the tubes that you really can't get out. Also there is the obvious welds that look covered up that don't appear as crisp as a factory job. Other signs are thin chrome cover in the tight spots, and or yellowing from thin chrome over the nickel layer. - Hutch PINK pads $450.00 - Sold

It's not built for straight line bro. It's a road course car that has 475 hp and 550 ft lbs at the rear wheels naturally aspirated, big brakes and weighs 3100 lbs.
