I grew up in the late 70's and 80's and as a kid my parents unfortunately didn't earn enough to buy me name brand BMX and skateboards. Me and my brother always got the generic no name brands until I was in Junior High and my parents bought me a beautiful chrome "Phoenix" BMX bike for Christmas. Still a very low end BMX bike but I loved it because of how shiny all the chrome was. They bought me a huge lock to keep it secured too. The first day back to school after the Xmas holidays my lock was cut and my beautiful Phoenix was stolen never to be seen again. I cried for days. My parents never replaced or thought about buying me another bike. As I grew up and when i was in my late 20's i started to collect and get back into the hobby of BMX. I bought alot of the bikes I admired so much as a kid. This was around 2000-2005. I had some great bikes, 86 Master, 83 S.Streak, several 85 G.T. P.Perfomers, and numerous Redlines. I became a member on here during those years but for the life of me i can't remember my sign on or password and there is no way to retrieve them if I don't have access to my old email account which I do not. I most likely have dealt with alot of our great members here during those times. I unfortunately I left the hobby around 2008 due to lifes issues. I lost my father in early 2019 and I moved from Arizona to San Diego and since then I have gained interest again in this wonderful hobby. I now live in Ocean Beach where riding bikes is the thing to do so I can give credit to that as why I am back to loving this hobby once again. This time around I hope to stay!
