Wow never seen a DGP zoot scoot before. Amazing
That’s but it’s actually a 1990-1/2 (1st half) even though the serial points to “GH89”. Pretty rare as GT switched the decals from the “crash dummy”’style you have here to a more traditional look half way through 1990. Just some background on it.
Good luck with the sale.
That is dope! Where is Christian at?
Is that powder coat or paint? Looks nice
1988 seat at a minimum. Viscount 2188 wasn’t used in 1987.
Thanks for the plug!
Isn’t that the same as an Axiom 767? Wonder who made what for whom.
Fantastic price! These will go fast.
Just up my alley....but I’m going to pass.
Angelo what happened? I thought that was “the one”!
Badass I had them on my ‘88 PFT and they were the best rims I ever bought. I don’t recall ever adjusting the spokes or repacking bearings. Just rode!
Bringing it back down to normal pricing. Gentlemen and a scholar.
No!!!!! Oh man one of my favorite custom GT PFT’s. GLWS
Interesting combo. Real nice!
That’s the way they are supposed to look and should look from the package! Nice job Angelo.
How are these still for sale?
Where do you get all this stuff? GT wishing well? Never seen such a fine specimen in red.
I’ve gotten burned from veterans on this site. Twice as a matter of fact. Once over a set of Peregrine wheels and another over a seat post that was 22.6 but sold as 22.2mm. These were members with many positive reviews and no neutrals or negatives. I’m not trying to change your mind on selling to new members or members without reviews but I don’t think you can draw conclusively that tons of positive feedback means a hassle free experience. Everyone has a bad day.
Those are cool!
Rut ro Rorge you can’t post that here
Always with the good stuff
Looks DGP to me. I have the same one. The DGO is really different and side by side you can tell right away. GLWS
180’s again!?!? Wow. Nice stuff as always. GLWS
name and DOB carved into the frame? Who does that!
:cool:Have one myself. Nice bike
Those grips are original to 1987? I thought GT started using them on the ‘88 models. Anyway that’s a nice PFT. Black wasn’t even mentioned as a color option in the catalog so even more rare. GLWS.
Super duper nice and priced right.
Maybe change this to “pegs” and it should disappear in a few hours.
Baby steps lol
Nice work! I want a set and I have nothing to put them on, lol.
Price drop! Nice deal! Wish I had all the parts to makes the catalog bike with mags. Oh boy oh boy.
I was thinking the same thing! Yes it can be bent with a mandrel tubing bender but you would see some marks for sure where the rollers engaged/made contact. The circle stamp is definitely out of place. GT did some goofy stuff but their QA/QC on that type of stuff was pretty high.
