2014 GT Power Series Alloy 3pc. Cranks

  • A reissue (very close copy) of the original GT alloy cranks that many riders used in the late 1980's and early 1990's
  • Released by GT Bicycles in late 2013 - these aren't Primo or Eastern knockoffs
  • Note that GT also had a 2017 version of these cranks... http://bmxmuseum.com/reference/4524
  • Featured forged RHD/LHD compatible aluminum arms with aluminum pedal inserts (like the originals), a hollow 22mm chromoly spindle with squared ends (to ease installation), and hollow spindles bolts (for additional weight savings)
  • Compatible with 9/16" pedals
  • Came stock on the complete 2014 GT Pro Performer 26" bike, which was first available by September 2013
  • These cranks were not publically sold separately (that I know of), but a few guys and small/private dealers were selling them in 2014 and 2015 (often at a large markup, due to their limited availability)
  • With the correct 22mm bottom bracket, these crank arms can be used on frames with American, Euro, Mid, or Spanish bottom bracket shells
  • Designed with left/right specific arms - the left crank arm's boss had opposite (left hand) threads
