1979 Unknown Klunker 26

My first low budget Klunker build

This Unknown cruiser frame was a garage sale score at least 25 years ago as a complete cruiser with rusty Schwinn parts on it. After becoming iterested recently in Klunkers i decided this rusty crusty frame would be a perfect first build on a budget. With parts i already had and parts i scored from Paul at Atomic cycles in Van Nuys this is the finished product. It rides great, on or off road. It has Al's bars, Odi mushroom grips, SR stem, Ideale leather seat, fluted seat post, Atomic cycles seat post clamp, Chopsaw sprocket, Spinner forks, VP peddles, Jet set blue anodized rims, and Sheriff MEO series tires. I added a picture of the bike when i use to run my old SE bmx bars on it. Hope you dig it! I've had a guy tell me the frame is a R.O.B. "Regular Old Bike" company from Orange County California, and i was also told it was a Takara. Who knows...i don't.

Re: 1979 Unknown Klunker 26

Not a brake bridge its a fender mount bridge! You could mount a brake on it if you were to use a small piece of angle iron bolted to it. Nice Rat Rocket on my list of wanna buildits.
