There are no free rides here. Everyone puts in work, whether cliqued up or not. I'm not talking about helping us with our computer skills. You'll get your f*cking hands dirty like the rest of us.

A cro-mo Huffy? I never knew they existed. Awesome bike.

I can't believe the way people mistreat bikes. It also amazes me how many people don't have any bikes and never ride them - poor miserable souls.

Very cool high end Huffy. I had a Diesel and know there's a lower model called Flatbed.

Re: 1998 Huffy One Ton

This bike went to a new home today! Its a bit rougher than I was anticipating..but hey at least I was able to find a nice example!

Not sure what direction I will go with it.. keep it how it is for a nice rider or restore it.

For now its a great bike to ride around town! 100% happy with my purchase!

Here's a few pic! As soon as I get time I will make a post about my near mint all original Quarter Ton.

Re: 1998 Huffy One Ton

After realising finding a replacement Alexrim MX22 at a decent price was virtually impossible.. I almost decided to strip it of the good parts for one of my new frames I recently picked up

..but then I stumbled across this wheel on eBay..
http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh148/SummitBalt08/Mobile%20Uploads/Screenshot_2014-10-26-13-48-34_1_zpstbdpi2ue.jpg
Its not an exact match to the stock rear wheel but its close enough for the money I paid for it.

After receiving the wheel, I noticed the bearings in the hub were junk. I dropped it and the bike off to the local bike shop. While they had it, they replaced the bearings in the wheel hub and the crank.

Got the bike and wheel back, threw some new tires on it and its back to almost looking as good as it did before. I couldn't afford to put Maxxis tires like it had before at the moment, so these kendas are only temporary so I can at least ride it. I still need to use some goo gone for the left over glue from the peeled decals and clean it up
