Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?
Here dude. This Proper BSH was brakeless too.
I need to put the plate in the same location there. But as you can see on that, there is a big ass nut sticking out making it look terrible. So I will use the insert nut thing to make it look super clean.

Adding the cable stop. Not got the plate yet, nor the correct drill bits for that so I did the hard part first. God, I hate doing these.

But of course I was missing the bolt. Scoured the entire house, but nothing. Then I found a whole bag of these.

M4 too, and longer which I was happier with (I am not putting them into the head tube). A very sweaty and scary 30 mins later.

I'm not worried about the through hole in the brake bridge because unlike this one it won't be restricted.
What hole in the brake bridge are you speaking about?
There are two bridges. One at the top on the rear stays and one on the chain stays.
https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-image … 0ed472.png
You can see it there. I need a hole through that to bolt this on.
https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-image … 0eed1f.png
However, I did not want a nut sticking out of the top (the plate is going under it, where modern brake mounts are). So, I hatched a plan. A while ago when working on my road bike I had to move the brake hole. I then needed a long one of these, so I bought a Ti one.
https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-image … 0f70a0.jpg
You drill through the brake bridge @ 6mm. Then, IIRC (but I need to measure the chromed one that I have spare because it was not long enough) you drill one side to 8mm. I then need to shorten the black bolt, so it does not come through, then you use that for literally a flush mount. So instead of having thread poking out of the upper brake bridge and a nut I will have that.
Drilling a hole into a brand spankin' new frame is nerve racking,to say the least.I would just run a front brake instead.

I can't bro. The rim I bought, you guessed it, brakeless
There is a tiny surface there, but not enough to run a brake. I got the RANT branded one, but they are the same. Also, the Demolition fork is shaved out for fat tyres, so there is no room to put the hole in that safely.
TBH the shitty, terrifying bit is done. The stop. Once that's in? just a regular hole, with tons of room and no threading required (so if you make the hole too big you can't tap threads etc).

Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?
Can't get those mounts UK side.
TBH the Mission Cease is the best u brake I've ever used. Even better than the Kink Desist which I have also that cost me 3x as much.
Because the Desist is CNC it has this really pissy and annoying system to hook the hanger cable in and it's a real ballache.
I did consider trying to get a V brake on there but yeah, can't get those posts in the UK. And besides I want it under the rear stays not on top like that.
I don't mind using a plate at all. Especially as the frame was basically half price. Leaves a lot more money for parts

Seeing the brake lever on the seat post, reminded me of Broke (member here) tribute bike to Martin, only the lever was lowered on the handle bars.

Pumpkin saw. Last one I made from a sawzall blade, it’s pretty rigid. This one is a band saw blade super flexible.

Wow she scrubbed up lovely.
I don't think in that shape I would ride it. They are quite rare, and usually beaten half to death.
