That is a great find!

How is Mercari to buy things?
I never used it, are you buying local face to face?

I use FB market place and Craigslist, always face to face.
I am just leery of doing the shipping thing with so many scams anymore.

Bought the bike and slim bars off Mercari, no issues. Paid with PayPal. Don't think funds are released to the seller until the item is delivered and buyer feedback is left. They're starting up a local thing

I really like it!  Yellow is one of my fav colors .

They make these with a chrome frame?

I so want to build a twin tube Haro in chrome.

Nice!

Funny I was just telling someone recently I really like these and wanted one for myself .

I ran across one semi local to me on MP for $500 , it was nice shape, but did not have OG wheelset on it.

But it did have chrome Fusion stamped 3 piece cranks , and a Hevron stem.

I think it was called a T-Bone select?  Same awesome color you have.

Nice bike Turbo big_smile I am jelly

Re: Mid-School HARO THREAD - for those of us that love the midschool haro

Another great looking Cruiser , and even better it is a Haro big_smile

20 inch bikes are fun, but I need a larger bike for me , so want to find me a 24 inch Haro locally for cheap.

I can give up my dumpster Columbia MTB been putting around for years.

Thanks man appreciate it. All I've changed so far, was the one piece cranks for three piece And fresh grips. Been riding my other haro cruiser though lately with the kids https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/270850/img_20210102_103245271_hdr61317dac0f.jpg

My bosses son had the "Backtrail Blue" version of that Frame. Only one I think I've ever seen until you posted yours! He built his up with mostly Haro aftermarket stuff & bits off a Mirra Pro, there was a few bits that were like the must have parts from that year. I remember when we got the shop digital scales weighing it! It felt crazy heavy but it was just over 40lbs!! 2 Brakes, 48's, Heavy Duty Inner Tubes, 4x Steel Pegs, a Seat Post that was probably 350mm maybe a bit more! Masssssssive solid Sprocket probably 44t/16t Gearing? Maybe a touch smaller not by much though! It was a TANK but my god was it beautiful haha.
Thanks for sharing & thanks for the memory nudge!

That is great looking cruiser also big_smile again Jelly!

The T-Bones just grab my attention and fuel my wants for one tongue

Something about the frame design I really like.   Unique is my guess smile

Adding a T-Bone 24" to my wish list , Gonna build a Klunker in the future also since recently introduced to those also smile

So much kewl bicycle stuff I have missed over the last 40 years , better late then never lol
