Re: Prices have skyrocketed

Maybe I don't spend enough time in the FS section any more, but are Hutch JDB racing pedals selling for over $500 now?  Is that for real?  What in the world are the OG pedals going for?  Has to be in the 10's of thousands I guess.  The JDB stuff, like seats, bars, pedals, etc., are going for what I assumed the OG stuff was going for.  I need to camp out on the Hutch store page and mash the F5 key until I buy his store out, then make a mint selling on the market....lol.

A buddy got into a bidding war,  house was listed a bit over $400k, but he ended up paying $close to $700k:o
Sad thing is,  where his old home was is a much better area.

I wish JDB would just curb it and offer preorder for these parts one per person. I’m never paying the same price for new stuff as the OG. It makes no sense.

It makes me wonder if people buying at those prices even know what JDB Hutch even means…

Exactly the same around here. We offered 20k above asking on a place and were told we weren't even close to some of the offers. I've known my realtor since he was 13, so probably 20 years or so. He told me people are offering up to 150k cash over list price. Bottom line is, we aren't moving. lol

This is true. People can't resist the urge to keep buying. Whether it's gas or houses, bikes, cars, toilet paper, etc.

Re: Prices have skyrocketed

I swore I was done after I built my 2017 vintage Haro Master. Then, about a year ago I logged in to see about selling off some spare parts.
Unfortunately that was the same day that the Redline Foundation announced the pre-sale for the new RL20iis. So I suddenly found myself
$1600 poorer and needing those now ridiculously priced parts for this build. Thank god I have those parts but the money for them would
be pretty sweet too, never mind the fact that god only knows when I'll have that Redline. Any future builds will be strictly new school.

Yep. something is going to happen and it'll be bad when it does. I'll keep my $900 a month house note and watch. Maybe buy something then. wink

People have different lives, incomes, priorities - none are right or wrong.

Some people wouldn’t pay $20 for a steak - others would pay hundreds.. or a shirt, or seat post clamp. All the same shit.

Different people, different lives - neither are better or worse then the other.

thats all fine and dandy,  NO BANK is giving the money when the house doesnt appraise unless u got cash, and anybody with that amount of cash cant be stupid because when it tanks and they're so far under water and house aint worth half that, they're up shit creek . realtors can say lets try to get this, dont mean crap.  i still want to see those listings cause my wife can easily look up the selling price and listing price
