HANDLEBARS

If I could just have one type of part to collect, 90s bars would be it. I was gonna take all my bars off their bikes for this photo, but i really couldn't be f'd... so theres a few bars missing. I really like to collect original paint/chrome bars with original stickers on there. You can start to see my Hoffman heavy bias in these pics!! Q2's, g2 4 piece, dyno pretzels are missing. The black Q1's are repainted, otherwise all og paint, stickers and chrome.

It's because of handlebars that i even started to collect again.. I saw some love handles on ebay around 10 years ago and i just had to have them again, so i got hose and... well.... the rest is history.

Re: My 90s bmx collection thread

Some brakes!

I have a bit of a thing for collecting original dated dia compe gear... it used to be a lot easier to find than it is now. All the dia compe gear you see is dated between 88-96. Even the bulldogs are dated, some of them 88.. didn't know they made bulldogs in 88.

I have a lot more levers and calipers on bikes, but this is the brakes parts stash. Kinda glad i collected all this a number of years ago when i did because the levers especially are getting hard to find originals and they are $$ now.

Also a little something i found over the years, a NOS factory metallic silver 88 dated 990 caliper.
