I have a Profile driver in a Primo mix, just had to run a small spacer on the axle internally between the driver and the hub.

This is kind of cool and something some people may not know about. This is the evolution of the six piece strip bar.  The black bars in the 1st pic are 1st gen no knurling in the stem clamping area and the tubes at the bottom of the bars are cut square.  Second pic the raw finish bars are prototype 2nd gen, no knurling in the stem clamping area and the tubes at the bottom of the bars are milled flat. Third pic 2nd gen production bars, now we see the classic three ring knurling, tubes still milled flat across the bottom and a increase in the upsweep of the grip tubes. Fourth pic these are 3rd Gen bars from 1997 , these bars are narrower at the base the the 2nd gen and the upsweep has been reduced.  https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/19565/20210225_1323496038286c25.jpg

So awesome thanks for sharing. One of my favorite things about BMX stuff is having the same part or frame from different years and seeing the differences, especially when you know why the changes were made over time. One of the reasons I love this site!

I have a Primo Mix Cassette with a 10t driver and it's from 2007 or 2008.  It was the last year they did a 10t and I was unable to find new 10t drivers after that.

However, they continued to use 10t Mix Cassettes on the Tip Plus "Integral" line of bikes.  If you can find an old Integral wheel, the 10t driver should work on a Mix and some newer ReMix hubs.

Profile drivers do not fit 4 pawl Mix or ReMix hubs (I've tried), but the pawls and springs are the exact same.

I prefer 10t drivers myself, but on my 9t wheels I run a 26 or 27t sprocket and it still feels decent.

Favorite decal style

planetbicycle@yahoo.com

Would love to find my old Dirt Bike.  It was stolen in Pompano Beach, Florida in about 1996.  It's a '92 with the block graphics on a Green frame.  Pitchforks, Slam bars, King Headset, GT (DK-style) stem and GT/Profile cranks.  Superlace hubs.  Would really love to put this back in my collection.

Re: Standard Bykes post, lets get one started!! Post your bad a*s SBC's

It's this era setup which makes me say "All chrome bikes must have black bars!"
I cant tell ya how many chrome frames I had back then ended up with black Haro/strip/q-bars because that's all that was available.
My current dagger has the same "chrome/chrome/black" right now!
Great era and great lookin' bike!

Slowly slowly, catchy monkey. https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/221283/20211019_174751616f0d568b.jpg
I got my 2015 custom 250S and 99 Lengthy back from my fabricator's this weekend. All the dings and grazes fettled and ready for powder coating. I've got authentic decals for the 250 from Standard but I'm really having difficulty with the varsity style Lengthy down tube decals. SBCDECALS on Facebook aren't reproducing them yet and there's no sign of them doing so any time soon. https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/221283/screenshot_20210912-143623_chrome616f0ee928.jpg
Any leads on these would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Standard Bykes post, lets get one started!! Post your bad a*s SBC's

Mine has taken me four years so far. Here it is as of the last time I found some more parts. This time, uncut 2pc Strips, NOS wheels for front and rear (G back E front IIRC). I also scored a lovely minty sprocket from Nick Bevan.

Sadly Bash forks have become rocking horse poo, and now reaching serious prices. More than I want to spend. That said, it has taken four years so what's another four.
