Re: Redline help

Not sure if the decals should be white or the red faded away

Maybe the decals were stuck on years ago and there not original but they definitely have patina

Re: Redline help

There are multiple variants it seems. The way the top tube flares at the seat tube is what tells me 440

Re: Redline help

wouldn't 97 have a threadless fork? 94 was the first year for cantilever brakes and still had a 1 inch fork.

Getting better smile
I also wondered the same thing. All the newer redlines I found have threadless

Re: Redline help

Well it's not going to get any better than that. All 93 bikes had caliper brakes so it's 94 or newer.

Re: Redline help

Looking in the museum, a lot of 95s have 1 inch forks. threaded and threadless.

Re: Redline help

look at the 98 340s. Some of the lower end bikes kept using 1 inch forks. That was as close as I could find but I cant really see your dropouts.  https://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/redline/19246
