Re: Dave Mirra's Haro's from 95-06

Well it may have been the fact I won’t ship it honestly. I was asking 1300 for it locally. I mean there not available all that much anymore and this one has all Lineage Parts along with some re-done Mirra Pro bars on it. So I figured it was a really fair price. The Lineage Stuff really holds its value because all the guys throwing it on the sports and masters and such. I just thought Haro really dropped the ball with the Tribute Pros. I think they owed Dave a lot more in my opinion. I think the Tributes should have been given this type of touch to go along with all there other fine remakes.

Whoa whoa whoa, Miss Lippy! The part of the story I don't like is that the little boy gave up looking for Happy after an hour! He didn't put posters up or anything, he just sat on the porch like a goon and waited! That little boy's gotta think 'You got a pet. You got a responsibility!' If your dog is lost you don't look for an hour then call it quits! You get your ass out there and you find that fu*king dog!!! (Billy Madison)

Re: Dave Mirra's Haro's from 95-06

Hi guys,

Dave used a 1" threadless Hoffman Super Fork on his yellow Blammo, does anybody know what headset he might have used?
Thanks

I thought the yellow Blammos were 1 1/8". I thought only the chrome 96 was 1".

AFAIK '96 was the last year for 1" threaded, based on the Zippo I have a '96 threaded, after years all Threadless... I think this is a general Haro thing.

Thing is, Dave seems to have used the 1" threadless Hoffman fork on his 97 Yellow Blammo...my Blammo (a Mirra replica) came with HS cups for a 1" headset, but because of the fork, it has to be threadless. I have the headset, I was just wondering if anybody knew what he rode, that's all

Re: Dave Mirra's Haro's from 95-06

There should be a gray 03 frame floating around which has a pretty substantial dent in it, as well as a dented headtube badge. That could help for authenticity. Dave ejected from a huge flip over the spine (I think at Ryan's 7' coping spine). I was there for most of the against the grain days. Side note, if you ever get to see a 10' flip over a 7' spine... seriously, what in the absolute F... . Anyhow, I think Dave tossed it to Harrington to use in a pinch. He ended up not needing it, or only riding it for a week or something. When my bike was stolen, both Darden and Harrington very graciously offered up frames. It was between the heavy, sketchy dented Mirra... or a new light S&M. At that time, the super-heavy bikes were going out fast, and I was more of a tech rider... so I chose Darden's S&M frame. One of my favs for sure, but dang it if I don't now regret building one up from the Miracle Man himself hmm Those gray frames are my favorite.

Sorry for the "cool story bro" ramble. This thread is really nice, and the bike looks great! Inspirational.

I love the Yellow 96/97 and the Red 97. The chrome with blue gold decals was killer but the solid colors are the ones I remember. And of course, I'm a kneesaver 2-4 life guy...
I hope in a few years, Haro ramps up the Lineage programs to include more accurate Blammos but until then, I'll ride this (when the step child isn't cruising around on it).
