Do I really NEED the Shadow Conspiracy chain tool, Or will my Park Tool work?
When I ordered, I noticed the Chains say “must use Shadow chain tool” and the Shadow tool says “works only with Shadow Chains”. Seems odd they would limit themselves in saying their tool only works with this chain, unless true. But then again, could be to provoke buyers to buy more of their stuff

You need a half link chain tool.A regular non half link one might not work.

Hmm ok. I didn’t know their was a difference. Thanks.
I’ve installed a couple odyssey half links with my current tool.
But I guess maybe I should invest.

Re: Post a pic of your last purchase.

I just walked into my moms house, which is next door to my sisters house. I’m often over here working on bikes. There’s a big game room that I’ve used to build my last couple bikes. My nephews are really into BMX & their dad (my bro in law) works a lot of overtime. So any time they have an issue with their bikes, I help them out. I’ve given and installed some extra parts I had that they liked. Etc.
Anyway, I just walked in and the boys came over with a big box and told me to open it. They said consider it an early b-day present. Lol. They chipped in and bought me a bike stand.

Nah, dude that is a killer gift and useful!

You'll have to forgive me, my nephews went from these cherubic angels to the kids from Ricky Bobby during this pandemic. The more time their parents spend with them the more devious they become.

My latest big purchase. Regretted selling my Black CG Big Ripper, so I jumped at the chance to replace it with this year's blue model. I went from an SE hater to this.

I keep buying and selling, so I guess I wasn't happy with the four I had left.

Re: Post a pic of your last purchase.

Been Jonesin to get back on the track after discovering how much fun I could have on a 22” in the Fall..So some of the guys were telling me about these OS20 race bikes..kind of like a 22” for the track..well I wanted one bad..but being the cheap prick that I am, I couldn’t justify a 2K bike at this point in my life..so thanks to some members here for turning me on to this, helping me buy it without FB, and getting it sent up to Mi from Florida..I’m the proud owner of a GT XXL OS20 race bike..can’t wait to get it in my office and let the sprint training sessions begin..dying to see how it compares to my 22” at the pump track too..

Please.....no Tuff Wheels on full on race bikes...original graphite’s only and pre 81 and never on a cruiser for God’s sake
Let me guess you were factory sponsored in
the 80’s...
Please no colored tires on race bikes...
So how many years were you a Pro....
You knew a guy that had a Mongoose that weighed 12 pounds
What year did you mix it up with Stu?
Thinking about going 22”....do it...

Nope at least not at this point, just started picking up the Porsche ones when I see them at Walmart or Target for .94 a piece. Never realized how many different ones are out there. Dozens+
