The 86 Free Form-EX is cleaning up well.. The Bebe blue finish in the unscratched areas shines nice...

Moving slowly.. But, installed NOS Tange headset and chrome Tange lock.. Also, put the BB cups in.. Got a NOS Tioga BB-220BT beartrap bottom bracket to stuff in.. They're nice.. All chrome and 12 bearings instead of 9..

Also, when I was on vacation, was checking Planet Bmx every so often and they posted white tuffs, so I grabbed a set while the getting was good.. I had a set of black Haro HPF's, so there you go...

^^ Thanks!! I sold all my S#it, soooo I'm looking for a very clean frame pad... Blue with pinstripes or a white will work.. I hate when I sell stuff and then need it 5 years later..

I just noticed the Red Baron “Snoopy” caps. Must be a Predator thing because I’m running a pair also!

Haha!! Cool!! Those Snoopy's are genuine old school valve caps.. I have 2 sets of Garfield valve caps, which are the same brand too..

I like those snoopy caps. Never saw them before but now will be on the lookout. I just bought a 83 Competition F/F that I am anxious to get delivered. May need to get the Snoopy caps for this new build project.

I can’t even tell you how long I’ve had those caps but I was keeping them in the package, in a storage container, then one day when I was organizing I came across them and thought why am I keeping these in the package? I’m not gonna sell them (I’m a huge Peanuts fan) and I don’t have them on display and probably won’t. Instead of just keeping them in a box I decided it’s best if they were enjoyed how they were meant to...on a bike. My kids love them. They’re on my “Frankenstein” Predator Black Shadow.

Does anyone have a streetwise, 1/4 flash, qualifier or night hawk frame and fork that they want to sell? A buddy of mine wants to powder one red for his son so the finish is not important. Actually prefer one that is crusty, just no damage.

Very cool. This highlights the one thing I hate about the Freeforms..the tapered forks require standers to be higher up.

I finally finished my 83 Competition. I bought it as a complete bike last fall but only the frame and fork were OG. Took a while to find the right parts and the ones I wanted.
I found a crank that was pretty tough but I polished that and the kkt pedals and they turned out nice. I wanted some extra legroom so I bought a repro layback post and painted it the way the originals were. I went with a modern BMX tire as I plan to chase my son around the BMX track with it.
Anyway I had an 84 as a kid and can’t wait to get out and ride this. Thought I would share it with everyone.
