1993 Hyper Metro XL
1993 Hyper Metro XL
One of the true OG BMX ATV’s(Dirtjumper/Race Machine)
I grew up a dirtjumper that loved to hit up the track. My home track in the early 90’s was usually Orange Y and sometimes Coal Canyon but boy did I love hitting the local kickers or Sheep if I could get a ride there. In my opinion there was no better bike in 1993 if you only had one bike and needed to do both. This is a high performance race machine and an even more impressive dirtjumper. This also completes a 6 year long goal of building a full gate(8) of some of my favorite 20” bikes from the late 80’s and early 90’s. Check out the rest of my lineup if you haven’t already, I still have all of them except for the Elf.
My favorite things in life are 1)Family 2)Full wrap Flight 401's 3)Cheesesteak

Re: 1993 Hyper Metro XL
I was out of the scene in the early 90s but can still really appreciate the selection of parts and attention to detail on this build! Plus the bike looks great!!
Check out my 1983 VDC-built Trident, 1983 Kuwi Laserlite, 2010 GT Ultrabox 2, 2011 Crupi race rig and prototype Quamen, plus the all things Crupi & old school scene in Japan threads. Always interested in buying used, mid-school race plates and pads - UGP, Knucklebone, Lizard Skins, Pryme and the like, me like!!

Beautiful bike man!
Life is short. Spend it! Always on the hunt for Peregrine wheelsets, anything Standard, Homeless. If you have sold me a expensive bike I thank you for letting me buy the way I did. Makes it possible for those of us that hide BMX monies from our spouses.

That's the best comment I've read in ages! Well, this year at any rate!
