Mongoose need to cash in on the retro thing. Been waaaay to long. The opportunity to get it right is there. They have some of the most iconic bikes ever. If they reissue the moose, 2/4 n the Kos they would kill it. I mean they are all made to be ridden by us old guys with ease.
I’m surprised they haven’t dropped a Cobra Kai reissue.
The thing is,Mongoose is doing what GT is doing, focusing on MTB.The chances of Mongoose doing a Cobra Kai bike is very slim to none unfortunately.

What color you plan on powdering it" If it were my bike,I would go with a candy blue, pearl white or metallic black.....heck maybe even orange!!!

Haha, I think orange might be nice.... but I prefer darker colors, still looking at all the choices...
I would prefer raw with clear coat but it’s too much work.,

Regardless of what color you choose for the bike,it needs a 3 piece crankset!!!!

I would have run black tyres but I enjoy seeing people customising their Strange Gooses.

1st time poster here after lurking for a hot one. Dope site! Haven't ridden a BMX in over 31 years and wanted to get back into it, rebuild & ride around. When I was searching online earlier in the year everything was sold out like toilet paper! Pulled the trigger on a Stranger Things Goose when I saw it available.

Re: Stranger Things Edition Mongoose
The bike with the box and all the packing material & box weight in at 38lbs, after I fully assembled the bike and I put all the packing materials, booklets in the box, everything weight exactly 6lbs. So a stock stranger things monogoose is 32lbs, which I believe is very accurate because I have heard many people stated the bike weight around 32lbs

Re: Stranger Things Edition Mongoose
Just finish the bike & im shipping it to my friend in New York... I reuse all the packing materials (no booklets & reflectors & headlight) it’s 31.2lbs
So, in all, we shave around 6lbs off the bike with all the after market components, I really need to get myself a bike scale
