2011 St. Martin Downtown
2011 St. Martin Downtown
Custom New School Madness!!
This build took over 2 1/2 years due to just picking up decent used parts or closeouts here and there. Only the pegs, grips, chain and levers were bought new. Always wanted a light bike - gonna take a while to get used to, & will probably mess me up when I go back to a "regular" weight bike.
Frame: 2011 St. Martin Downtown
Fork: St. Martin Mikado
Bars: KHE Swiss Mess (chopped and rewelded 12ยบ forward)
Grips: Primo Nate Hansen (flanges cut off)
Headset: Fuel
Brake Levers: Odyssey Monolever - front/M2 - rear
Brakes: Rear/Odyssey Evo 2 Front/DiaTech Hombre
Front Wheel: Alex DM22 radial laced to a DK Alpha Sealed hub, gold alloy nipples
Rear Wheel: Alex DM22 radial laced to a Taska U-Free freecoaster 9T, gold alloy nipples
Tires: Fit FAF 1.95
Pegs: Tree Big Balsa
Tubes: generic
Air: 100 psi at all times!
Cranks: St. Martin Eco-Flat 145mm
Pedals: Wellgo Nano
Chainwheel: St. Martin 16T
Chain: Mechanik Hollow pin Halflink
Seat: Odyssey Senior pivotal
Seat Post: Colony pivotal
Seat Clamp: S&M slim
Finish: Custom powdercoat (gold micro flake over black) on frame, fork & bars, hand lettered varigated gold leaf and pinstriped frame graphics.
Weight: 19.25 lbs
I like to wear sneakers on my hands because it's much better when you crash - and if you're wearing sneakers on your hands, you're gonna crash.

Re: 2011 St. Martin Downtown
The whole bike is nuts. The gold leaf is super dope
Life is short. Spend it! Always on the hunt for Peregrine wheelsets, anything Standard, Homeless. If you have sold me a expensive bike I thank you for letting me buy the way I did. Makes it possible for those of us that hide BMX monies from our spouses.
