The list is far from complete Brian....  If you were to limit that list to the 50 rarest frame sets there are frames on there that do not belong and frames that should be on there just based on numbers made.  People look at this list as a finite thing thing....it isn’t.

I agree.  I think it’s a list of the frames he desires.

Re: Jeff Haney's 49 Rare Frames List

The dude has almost every frameset imaginable. Could slightly be driven by desire but idk. For instance, We have been talking Freshour in the last few posts. Haney owns one. Tim K's personal frameset to be exact. Yet the name still made his list. Why? Because when was the last time you seen one in person? Likely never. I've never laid eyes on over half the frames listed.

Re: Jeff Haney's 49 Rare Frames List

So, how old is this list by now? Ten years, perhaps even more. Jeff Haney probably obtained quite a few items of the list in the meantime or owned them all along already. And in the end it is HIS list and everyone discussing it should acknowledge that.

Re: Jeff Haney's 49 Rare Frames List

It was actually always called "Jeff haney's 49 rare frames list". Never was the word rarest mentioned. Simply 49 frames which happen to be rare. Nobody ever said there aren't more than 49.

And as title suggest it's "Jeff Haney's 49 Rare Frames List"....everyone else will have a different list of what they consider rare, unique or whatever way the list is derived.

Re: Jeff Haney's 49 Rare Frames List

How about those gold plated Hi-Tech frames? Maybe not as desirable as some as the others on the list, but I bet they quite rare.

Would be cool if we can make a poll/list based on everyone's opinions, not just from a single dude's perspective.

Yep, funny thing is my complete is a complete AS RACED by the original owner in Jacksonville FL. He was a Jax Schwinn sponsored / Navajo support rider. I found it odd since FL is a loooong way from AZ. Even got his full leathers.

Re: Jeff Haney's 49 Rare Frames List

Track Master built RRS frame and forks.
A funny story about Robinson. I went to Riverside Schwinn ( home of RRS) one day and I saw a new Track Master frame & fork. It was called the “revenger“. After looking at it, it was exactly the same as a Robinson.
I asked one of the guys at the shop about it and was told that Robinson ordered the frame & forks but could not pay for them. So Track Master had to recoup their money and because the frames already had an “R” in the gusset they named it the “revenger“. Had decals made and sold them to dealer to make their money back.

Re: Jeff Haney's 49 Rare Frames List

Makes sense on the "Revenger". Got to make money to stay in business. Probably not the only time that happened with production shops.
