I love pizza. Do you do this for a living or just love pizza?

I've worked in pizza shops off and on since the mid '90s. It's been a couple of years since the last time but I like making it as much as eating it so the saga continues.

The potatoes were the best part of the dish - crispy outside, soft inside, with the aromas from the thyme, garlic, and almost burnt onions. And duck fat makes everything taste better!

Re: What's for dinner?

Kicking it old-school in the kitchen again.
Lamb culotte, same potatoes as yesterday, leek and mushrooms à la creme, and a red wine reduction with a few blackberries mounted with butter

Re: What's for dinner?

I made some Aunt Jemima pancakes with Aunt Jemima Syrup.
I got the last few boxs and bottles before they yanked them off the shelves.
These are not rascist either...all it took was a few complaints and the company bent the knee. big_smile

Re: What's for dinner?

Grilled Ham and Egg with Cheddar & Caramelized Red Onion Sandwich’s. Get that golden finish by using Dukes Brand Mayo instead of Butter on the bread before grilling. Once you try this method you will never go back to using butter on any type of grilled cheese sandwich I swear just trust me. cool

Salmon with fettuccine in a cream sauce with white wine, lemon, dill, and parsley

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50376871827_5be3bd5257_c.jpg

My preferred way of cooking salmon: Season with salt and lemon zest, cover with dill and lemon slices, and stick it in the oven at 180C for 20 minutes. A trained monkey could do it, and it turns out perfect every time.
