Just finished putting this together. The seat will get replaced with more of a cruiser type seat, but I couldn’t find exactly what I want (would help if I knew what I want).

A Brooks seat would look good on that.

That’s kinda what I’m thinking too. Maybe one with springs.

The C17's work damn good too and don't have the gaudy big vintage look.

Harp, I want to tell you something. I was in this bureau when you were still popping zits on your funny face and jerking off with the lingerie section of the Sears catalog....

Look, John, I'm sorry I'm not sorry, okay? I'm not gonna apologize. I'm a cocksman.

My wife would never allow this. She doesn't understand why bikes don't just stay outside.

Re: S&M hoarders unite

I had to move a couple others out from underneath to keep it all S&M. My mountain bikes are in the other room. My wife completely understands now. A few years back someone poisoned my dog, broke into my barn, and stole several bikes(Auburn, Kuwahara, and a United) and a bunch of tools. Since then she hasn’t said anything about the bikes in the house.

Re: S&M hoarders unite

Those bars without a cross bar look awesome.  Very nice bike.

I hear ya about the seat. I think a Brooks saddle is in order for mine as well. The bars with no cross bar look great. I tried to go that route, but the company I wanted to order from apparently went out of business.(?) IDK, but those bars look sweet.

Sella Italia Rolls saddles look great too

Please.....no Tuff Wheels on full on race bikes...original graphite’s only and pre 81 and never on a cruiser for God’s sake
Let me guess you were factory sponsored in

Please no colored tires on race bikes...

These are S&M S.A.C. Bars, PlanetBMX had 6 of them when I bought mine, went back to order another one for my FBM 29 and they had sold out!!!

Craigslist finally had something good! Pretty sure it's a holmes. Matches my same style dirt bike. Gonna take it apart now https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/246580/16004801388829939191845f65639ecd.jpg

Where are the cable guides? Steel Panther frame, was about to pull the trigger on this and then was like wtf I'd have to zip tie the brake cable to the TT? Factory defect or ???

Re: S&M hoarders unite

Nope... They were just extremely dirty and gross. lol I only have ever seen something like it with color grips, but never that bad. Was a bitch to get off of the random homemade bars.

More like factory reject. Look at the chrome plating at the seat tube/bottom bracket. I hope the original owner got one hell of a deal on it.

Now that certainly is interesting. Thank you for pointing that out/sanity check. Damn, I was so excited to see a chrome one in 21.5" available.
