Those moto mags shine like they are new!

Love the blue tyres on the polished Motomags. The bike is really nice.

Re: 1983 Blue Max

The last one I've seen look this good was my friend Steve's waaaay back in the day when it was brand spankin' new. Great job keeping it all sparkly.

Re: 1983 Blue Max

Had one when I lived at Chanute AFB back in the early 80s. Got it from the Base exchange. They were more expensive than the rest of the bikes there.

Re: 1983 Blue Max

I grew up on Ft Sill, these were in the “4 Seasons” where they sold grills, bikes, patio furniture etc...in a building between the PX and Commisary.  I got a motomag in 1980...saw the Blue Max in the 4 seasons that following spring and instantly had buyers remorse on the plain ol motomag?  Anyway, I lusted after that bike on a weekly basis for 4 or 5 years.  I have acquired a pair and will be posting soon I hope!!

Re: 1983 Blue Max

This looks exactly like mine. I got mine at the Four Seasons on Blytheville AFB in Arkansas. I rode it all over that base. The bx, bowling alley, Commissary, library, base theater. It was great. I also rode it all over Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota for a year or so until I got my drivers license then it was put away. Yours is beautiful and it great condition. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
