Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....
There was some packing paper inside the fork box, right down the bottom. .... I should not think this is as cool as i do... i guess i must be a pretty simple person when i get excited about the date on newspaper packing...

That's amazing Stu. I was excited about the boxes even when I just thought they we're boxes. Forks even cooler! Oklahoma Gazette! I remember that newspaper.

I think it still exists. I will look and see when I am in Edmond in a few weeks lol. I would be interested to know what headlines are on those from 1994.

Anybody got pics if the HOFFMAN EVEL shirts??
Heres my profound, life changing statement.
Lifes a bitch..PASS ME A BEER.
They're reacting and that's wonderful. It's better than them sitting there doing nothing. I say make them react - do whatever's in your power to move the audience, and if that's where it is, and there where it is with America, sex and violence, then I say project it.

No pic of shirts but here's some of the other Evel stuff I need to sell. The frame & fork is #3. Mat has #1 and #5 and said he's pretty sure he gave Evel #2.

Hell yeah! Is it an XL or a pro? Also, is there a serial # on the inside left dropout?

How is it that some of the EVEL stuff such as pics of the HB EVEL jerseys and RICK THORNES BLACK EVEL CONDOR seem not to exist? Or at least not great pics of them..

Possibly because at that time, no one gave a crap about things like "rare, vintage or collectable" nor were they thinking about documenting certain bikes or artwork at the time. (Sorry if that sounded harsh, it wasn't meant to be snarky or rude, just truthful)
I know many of guys who were chopping the framestands off Trickstar chainstays, ridinging Skyway TA's and girnding the hell out of SE Condors & Taj's. One of my biggest regrets I have was not taking pics & video of some of my old bikes & tricks throughout the years. Soooo many good sessions (and friends who are no longer here) that I don't have film of.
