Re: What's for dinner?

Crockpot action for dinner tonight! Picked up a couple London Broil Roast last night (buy one get one free!) so why not sit in my robe on the couch on this rainy fall day and watch football with the wife and let the slow cooker do all the work. Sounds like a plan!

Got the ingredients...

Got the A-1 Steak Sauce wet rub applied...

https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/248463/4fe1e3a6-bf76-4d4b-bbd1-fad4c2a5b50b5db5a853d8.jpeg

Gotta get that crusty sear action going on the stovetop....seal those juices in!

https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/248463/27f56bd5-96bb-4a93-a0ff-526f884dd6675db5a8d20a.jpeg

Settle it in with the Celery, Carrots, Potatoes, Onions, Beef Stock, Couple Bay Leaves, and the secret ingredient...Lipton Beef Onion Soup Mix on top. Flavor just melts into the meat!

https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/248463/aadd2207-5855-4c3f-9f9c-6c3c8c627b275db5a9d1de.jpeg

Now we wait probably 7 to 8 hours while this rain continues to pour in the upper east coast. To be continued later tonight folks....cool

It was great. I’ll grab a better pic...the lighting and the photo don’t do it much justice. Color is off

Re: What's for dinner?

Was stuffed afterwards plus we had Ice Cream from a local joint called Jane’s. We picked that up earlier in the day while waiting for dinner to be finished, plus I had to sneak into work to make sure everything was on the up and up and on there shit. Low key day... wink

I’ve always loved cooking...but lately cooking has been doing it for me way more than bikes. Italian coffees too! Damn.

Tonkatsu (pork broth) Ramen.

https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/27489/img_20191118_1910194055dd33609bd.jpg

Fresh ramen noodles, pork belly, soft boiled egg, green onion, etc. All in a creamy pork broth. Spiked with a chili oil that is made on premises here.

Just hot enough. More flavorful. I can't handle high concentrated heat, but I love natural pepper.

Same here, can’t enjoy my meal while I’m sweating from something extremely spicy....let alone thinking how I’m going to pay for it with a burning ass on the commode the next morning.

I know this isn't the "what was for dinner two nights ago" thread, but....
