I am contemplating this for my homegrown if I restore it........

Harp, I want to tell you something. I was in this bureau when you were still popping zits on your funny face and jerking off with the lingerie section of the sears catalog....

Fixed is a blast.
Just need an Eno eccentric hub to make it work with regular drop outs.

Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

I have a Philcentric eccentric bottom bracket that works in standard BB shells for sale/trade. It'll make a bike with standard dropouts fix-able

Here's my Flea Market forum post with pics/details. I'm open to whatever trade offers. Mostly interested in 90's MTB, new MTB, or cyclocross stuff right now (like some dirt drops or other alt bars)

Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

I really did not want another bike but I could not resist this one.  Redline Conquest, I did not even know that Redline made mountain bikes:). I believe it to be mid 80's and looks to be mostly original.

Oh wow, that's a rad bike      big_smile

I have one of those too.
Did your bike come with Redline dust caps for the crankarms?

If so those are worth gold, so many members are needing those for their ( 401? ) cranks.

Gnarly is when it's beyond radical, it's balls out danger, & or perfection, & or skill or all of that combined. Nobody can shred like that guy, he's gnarly.                                        \m/  ( º . º )  \m/

Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

Slow few days at the shop allowed me to start cleaning up the Klein I got a few months ago. Have the rebuild kit for the fork and cleaning up the small parts. Should have it ready to go next week with some nice outside pictures. big_smile

Nope, this one popped up on eBay with a $600 starting bid or best offer. Noticed it was up north jersey so I made a cash offer and they took it.
