Re: Meet The Hoffman Bikes Family (USA edition) **high bandwidth warning**

Got most of my stuff out for a photo last week!

It's exhausting when I look at all this stuff and think of what I went through to get it all.... Obsessive collecting is a bad thing sad

(seat got sold......)

WOW, is all i can say.

Staring down the hole again
Hands are on my back again
Surviving is my only friend
Terrified of what may come
Remember I will always love you
As I claw your f*cking throat away
It will end no other way
It will end no other way

Been building this one recently.

I'll call this version 1 as there's a few changes I still need to make.

Re: Meet The Hoffman Bikes Family (USA edition) **high bandwidth warning**

Recently finished this US made Taj build. This one took me 3 years to build it from the time i picked up the frame.

Complete survivor build, no refinished or repainted bits, except for the brake cable, and the tires are the new V Monster V1 reissues, not original 90s stock.

It was loosely themed off this bike.

PARTS LIST

FRAME: 95/96 Taj
FORK: 95/96 Taj
STEM: TNT Invert
BARS: Hoffman Low Drag (US made, bomber sticker variant)
GRIPS: Odyssey Gedda
LEVER: Tech 77 (95 dated)
SEAT: GT Dropnose
POST: GT (i had to cut it because it was waaaay too long)
SEAT CLAMP: GT Double bolt
CRANKS: GT Profiles 175mm
PEDALS: Shimano DX
SPROCKET: US Made Fusion Nuke 44t
WHEELS: Super Pro 48's
PEGS: 2 x hardy pegs
BRAKES: DIA COMPE AD990 (1995 dated)
CHAIN: Izumi (one from an old bike i picked up, i think it's from the 90s.. maybe)

The only thing i'll change one day, is if i find the matching set of forks for this bike, with that same blue colour paint, i'd pair those with it. I've been searching 3 years so far though and haven't found them yet!!

Re: Meet The Hoffman Bikes Family (USA edition) **high bandwidth warning**

7 years later... i finally found an original paint black flash frame with OG blue stickers! It was missing the top tube stickers so i ripped a set off some forks I had... it came out ok... not great. Still stoked to have this frame! I'll be rebuilding the flash complete a few posts up with this original frame, and replacing the one that i had repainted with non original stickers.

Goes well with the red one.

Nice Stu.

I've got some RR Maxi or Mini's (not sure which) if you plan on going that route.

Thanks for the offer, i've already got the bike built with those bars! Just gonna swap over the new black frame with the repainted one. I'd build the red one, but i have no more room for completes so it's just for display until i get a bigger house!
