I just got laid off. Got a decent severance package, so I am going to take the summer to find myself.

Re: SO WHATS YOUR JOB????

Super irresponsible automotive mechanic. I’ve been told multiple times I do good work and I certainly try to, but as with everyone’s daily job.. eventually I get bored and need to liven things up a bit. Weather it’s a game of tag with airsoft pistols or blowing up old airbags laying around.

A former coworker caught me in the act of being bored and snapped this pic a few years ago. It’s been posted in other threads but still one of my favorite pics of me at work!!

I’m also the ‘Frame replacement guy’ this was a 2017 Chevy that had a bent frame. 3 days to swap and got running with no CEL.

So your the one who writes that crazy picnic related stuff on the frames. I was wondering who kept doing that!

Luckily for me that frame came from GM, and it had the fresh frame undercoating sprayed on it. I ended up throwing those cloths out cause of that frickin’ black goop that was stuck to me, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about!

Haha. Update.

My company just hired me back at my old rate plus 10%. Turns out they need me.

So essentially, they paid me to take the summer off and re-hired me with a 10% raise. lol
