1986 Titan TE-1000
Side of the road...
I found this thing on the side of the road for takes by the owner back in 2017, it was the first bike i ever restored, rode, and helped me get into biking in general. I basically owe this bike my interest in vintage bmx entirely, as it set me on a journey to where i am now. This is a Titan T?-1000 and it is the only 20" i've ever enjoyed riding, it had OG odyssey black widow cranks, flight sprocket, mongoose pedals, redline 6bolt stem, and mongoose 4130 bars with diacompes to stop it, its actually pretty light excusing the walmart mag wheels but hey, when you're poor you dont have time to fidget with spokes. Fast little pocket rocket, especially when you're 6'2 and counting. Probably my favorite 20" old school ill ever have. definitely my favorite old school race brand. (EDIT: Yes i replaced the wheels but i sold it a while ago before i took pics)

I believe it's light because it is titanium. Beautiful bike but those mags are making me cringe!!
I can't believe the way people mistreat bikes. It also amazes me how many people don't have any bikes and never ride them - poor miserable souls.

Re: 1986 Titan TE-1000
My brother ordered a titanium one in 1990 and it showed up as an xl, he sent it back unfortunately and replaced it with an s&m mad dog. His titan was a rough gunmetal color with black speckles or dimples all over. By far the coolest bike ever. We were just talking about it the other day. We both saw this bike for a few minutes in 1990 and it made that much of an impression on us. Great bike. Please replace those wheel bro.????
