Re: Tough guy tan pick up
Great bike btw
I live for Race Inc, SE Racing, Navajo, and Nomura!!
If I hear the words "RARE", "GRAIL", or "SCORE" one more time, I'm gonna f'n puke. ALSO, NOS is NOT a condition description. Being NOS has NOTHING to do with the actual condition of the part.
BMX Museum: where every single "score" thread is followed by a FOR SALE part out thread 15 minutes later.

Re: Tough guy tan pick up
So parting is a no no, understandable.
If US buyers aren't stepping up to the plate and someone from another country has the coin, so be it.
Not all Ferraris live in Italy.

Re: Tough guy tan pick up
Hmmm yeah interesting....
I mean I've had my Vector cruiser for sale on here for a while now. I think the price is fair- when is the last time you've seen one for sale?
I don't want to see it leave the US...
Same goes for Zack's stuff...if he put's it up here (and he has) and there's no buyer should he off it to a lowballer just to see it pop up on ebay and watch someone else cash in?
Maybe trading is the way to go... BUT that still doesn't mean the next guy wont throw it on ebay and off it goes.

Just a guess but maybe it isn’t selling because it has been refinished.

True- and I totally get that...but when I got it, it was rattle canned white, no decals etc....so what can a guy do?
Still, it's a pretty rare US made frame in very good shape, and from my experience it will sell instantly on ebay.
I mean seriously, how can all those retro SE be selling and not this?

I agree, some frames are needing to be refreshed, but unfortunately the market on the museum is not there.
I have also listed my Vector here at what I thought was a good price with no sale and it’s real NOS box fresh. No shame in going to eBay if you can’t move it here.
You have to go where the market is.
Plus, who doesn’t love money.
Good luck.
Still loving this quad.

I like money-
Don't need to sell bikes to feed my family, but don't need stuff kicking around the house unused either.
It'd be really something if I could break even in this hobby
And yeah I remember yours listed super tempting- so cool. Also goes to show that something can come into the US as well, if someone just pulls the trigger.
