Day trip cruisng a new rail trail yesterday to check out the historical Derailleur Bike Cafe which is directly on the trail. It was the general store and train ticket station from 1875 to the 1960's, then was left to rot until a family bought it in 2010. They spent 4 years renovating it for the bike trail and its been open for the last 5 years (before and after photos are amazing). There is a photo of a train locomotive that derailed in front of store back in the day. One rider that came into the store was very interested in my bike, and another rider wanted to talk about vintage motorcycles because I had my Hodaka shirt on, so the place definitely had that "lost in time" feel about it...
