It's against the rules to ask value. The serial number will probably help nail down the year.

Oops, sorry about that. I'll see if I can get him to take a look at the serial. He wanted to me ask, I'm clueless about BMX stuff, but all over mtb's.

Thanks for the heads up

Round brake bridge? Looks like it, my guess is 1978.

Re: Finally!! A Powerlite Thread!! I've Been Waiting For One.

Believe it or not, the small font OG down tube decal tells us it's a 78. In 79, they switched to the larger font but the 78's used the same size font as the Peddlepower's did. And that's a Pro fork. Very few of them out there. Grab it!

I handle sales and marketing at True Torch. We have almost 40 years experience fabricating BMX bikes. We do custom builds and repairs but our overhead is not paid via BMX.
Personally, I'm a total Peddlepower and early Powerlite junkie. Always looking for '83 and older
Check out my Peddlepower 26" tribute frame set.
Looking for:
Peddlepower and Powerlite parts. I need 24" & 26" Powerlite forks.

Slowly making progress with my COQpit XL, building an 84 Skyway TA which has soaked up most of my time and money. I might be running Shimano DX Hubs if I can’t find P-lite sealed bearing hubs. I’m not using the current freestyle bars on it now or the VP550. Anyone have wheel setup ideas?
Thanks in advance

Post up your current P-Lite builds as I love seeing others.

Re: Finally!! A Powerlite Thread!! I've Been Waiting For One.

My most expensive flea market purchase about 4 years ago. Still in as found condition. 1991 Power Lite P61
last 2 pictures are some upgrades I may add to the clean up project. I am looking for a Blue VG lever or a Paul love lever.
Over all it needs a good polishing job and its ready to BLING

Looks clean!! Flaketown is the man, he hooked me up big time for my Speed Series Team XL.
What size post clamp is that? I’ve got a chrome GT and a Powerlite Clamp for sale bud, haven’t posted the GT one yet but HMU for more information if interested.

Re: Finally!! A Powerlite Thread!! I've Been Waiting For One.

98 P61 COQpit XL is a roller now and I’m just showing a sneak peek again. None of the color parts are on yet as I don’t want to show off everything as yet. I did get the cranks powdercoated and can’t wait to add the finishing touches. Within the next couple weeks I’ll be completely finished, my 84 Skyway TA and 98 GT Speed Series Team XL are higher priority.

Re: Finally!! A Powerlite Thread!! I've Been Waiting For One.

Sold one of my 98 PLite COQpit XL’s the other day and really hooked the guy up with a bunch of free parts considering he gave my asking price without any hassle whatsoever. Straight up guy, anyways I get a frame box in the mail the other day and I’m definitely not expecting anything.....

Hmmmm... I check it out and find that it’s the same guy so I crack it with a knife and this is 1 of 3 items I got from that really kickass buyer!! Thanks again for the 98 Powerlite bro, You’re the man Shaun!!!

Update: After researching this frame/measurements I’ve come to the conclusion it’s a 1998 Pro Fastback. Normally offered in Ball Burnished or Red. So disregard above year and model
