76 Bear Corp, looks like an A&A. But its not

Beautiful bike.  Nice job on finishing that one up right!

I've only seen three of these in 17 years of collecting.

Took me over 7 years to source all the NOS parts and complete this.  The original owner of the frameset ended up getting it for his birthday.  His parents bought him this RL-20 II frameset instead of the 800P he asked for.  He told me he pitched a fit and his parents went back and bought him the 800P.  He told me this frameset sat in his garage untouched for a couple of years and then ended up in his closet. Fast forward to 2003 when he decided to put it up on eBay.  I snatched that shit up quick!!!  Hunted and hunted for parts to do it right, even 1986 dated Dia Compe matching color cables.

It's getting much, much harder to find stuff like this but trust me - it's still out there.... waiting to be found!!!

Not sushi grade rare, but you don't see many of these pop up in original condition.

Early Competition Scrambler.

Black Chrome GT Nora Cup Pro with a clean black finish.  Apologies if this has been mentioned.

Schwinn may not come mind when it comes to "RARE" however the Chicago built Team Schwinn which was only available from mid 78 to mid 79 had production numbers under 100 total, with the majority of them being issued to factory riders. The Team Schwinn was also the predecessor to the Sting, sharing only the rear triangle section but constructed of high quality Reynolds 531 material. Schwinn felt it needed a serious offering until the Sting was ready for market. The Team Schwinn was only available as a frame, so it could be built to suit the rider. This one is equipped with the correct Schwinn catalog/approved components.

Those and the Stings are beautiful frames.
