I've been thinking of going to Cary to ride the park. Any body want to meet and ride some time?

Is King BMX show still in business? I tried sending an email yesterday to the email on their site, and it was immediately returned as undeliverable.

I know they did the show for last year's Bike Day in Rock Hill, and that was after all that stuff happened that we had read about on here. Although, Keith King himself was not there.

I just looked at this year's webpage, too, and they were also scheduled to do that show as well.

Re: North Carolina Riders
Hey guys - just a reminder. We want to do a display of bikes from you guys at the American Flatland Association's Round 3 contest in Winston-Salem on July 20th. I can't figure out how to display the flyer on the page but it's on http://www.afabmx.com/. Mark Eaton will be the DJ and times are 10am until 7pm starting with beginner, old's cool, expert then pro. Got lots of good prizes for the classes as well. The venue is called the Ramkat - it's a two story music venue and there will be an after party at 8:30 at the venue. The website for the venue is https://www.theramkat.com/. Come out, display the bike, ride, hang out - have a good time. Hope you can make it. Email me at bryan.huffman@corning.com if you have questions.

He posts pics of shows on Facebook but not with the same frequency as before. I'm sure there's some reputation rebuilding going on and he's measuring his exposure.
And on to Huffman's contest, if you guys don't know, this is a pro level contest featuring some of the best flatlanders in the country. Great opportunity to show off some vintage rides and watch high level flatland.

Re: North Carolina Riders
Yep. We did two full days in Manhattan, then meandered through Connecticut, stopped in Neeport, RI to see the Breakers and the other old mansions. We rolled into Boston for a quick stop at my cousin's place, now we are at her mountain house in Vermont. We may try to get to Maine before heading back south. Busy but fun trip sight seeing along the east coast.

Awesome trip! I love the New England states but I dread the tolls. Best time of year to be there too, much cooler. Makes for great memories and sight seeing I bet.
