Going full pull on the level of detail and for the mechanic in me that loves tweeking my brakes so they're razor sharp.

And at long last I got a cable oiler. Been wanting one for ages but just keep forgetting.

Thanks.  The jersey is part of the Fox 180 uniform I raced in back in the late 90s.  As for the tires...Well, let's just say that I have a soft spot for a good, cheap set set of quality tires.  They'll go on my survivor '85 Powerlite, which will perfectly complement my '81 Powerlite which I also scored a cheap set of Chen Shins for.  I'm stoked.

Re: Post a pic of your last purchase.

Well that's a little bit odd.

I posted a pic of that KHE Affix stem (the left over seat clamps stem lol) and then last night I was looking at pics of my screamer (very light and very quick road/cruiser/huge skinny BMX) and noticed something....

http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/41840/img_20190220_15225675d0a46ead2.jpg

I think that's either got to be a KHE, some variation of it (because it's for fat MTB bars so I had to use shims) or it's some one else who too had too many seat clamps kicking around lol. I never did remove it.

One of those cheap ones knocking about.

I didn't want a back ache from destickering my STA. Plus I can use it for other builds and swapping parts etc.

Been basically working everyday, weekends not all day type of busy, but everyday it's been nuts.  Since Feb 1st until this week, I've had only one day breaks from inspections weekly for damage from this winter into spring etc.

I'm not trying to debate, I'm just venting.

Sorry my friend, it was a last minute thang....plus I rarely drink anymore, just blow trees, better for the anxiety. Knob creek 100 is not bad though, pretty tame for that high.

Some of the funniest shit I've read on here in a while though...... "Goose is loose MF" is how I read your reply in my head....

Prices for these started at £1200 here in the UK.

They then dropped to £899 but still crazy. I mean don't get me wrong it's a gorgeous bike but yeah...

So I've slowly started watching prices drop. Today they hit an all time low of £589. Still a lot of bread. Any way, I had a windfall and had £430 so for a laugh I figured I'd phone the shop and offer that for one. I was fully expecting them to tell me to chuff off, and she put me on hold for ages so I figured she was thinking of a way to tell me to chuff off, or was hoping I'd hang up.

She eventually returned, and said "I've just changed the price to £430 on the 21", please call me back as soon as you've ordered it so I can put it back to £589"

Whoah dude. I don't think I've ever pressed alt F5 and checked out so fast in my life.

My initial thought was "buy it as an investment. Wait until they're all gone, then wait for someone looking for one then sell it as NOS, never opening it"

But you guys know what I'm like. I'm already thinking "f**k that build it and ride it"

lol

Yeah I would go so far as calling it a score tbh. Real nice bikes I saw one at the lbs last year when getting my wheel built.
