Ah I was looking at those last night.  For the short term I think I will get a pair and then maybe consider some Odyssey Springfields or evo 2's if I need more gripping power.

These brakes are dirt cheap and offer SIGNIFICANTLY more tire clearance than odysseys. The Kool stop pad upgrade makes a huge difference as well.

I actually have a few sets of these on my bikes.

Prehistoric bump.
I have a set of these but haven’t tried them out yet. The couple bikes I had in mind are S&Ms with removable mounts and these brakes are not compatible with them.

13.650 CS big_smile I can see why. Shortest one yet.
DK vega 22 is 13.75  but most brands are running 14.000 ? 14.500. Killer set up.

Does anyone have experience with the Framed Defendant 22"? They have a hi-ten for little over $200 and a full chromo.

There a couple on the 22 inch Facebook group that have them. If you buy it, just be ready to upgrade as you go.

I had a custom frame on order but gave up on the delayed wait time and bought the stolen Spade pro frame kit and built it up
