No mallet stem

I'm very slowly gathering parts to build another Performer and really don't want the usual predictable mallet stem . What would you go with  ? Maybe a freestyle  tuf neck  , forklifter maybe ? Will be with a rotor as well  .  Any suggestions. ...

A great looking stem and not had one before but  i don't think they are rotor friendly.

Odyssey 6 bolt and Gyro. Rotors make the bars too high.

Woooo! I just had a quick look around here and ebay and the ACS stem is over $200. That would sure force me to change my mind.

Well...Since your building a Mid eighties GT Performer and you dont want to go with the Mallet Stem and mentioned a Forklifter stem...I ran a GT Stamped Forklifter stem in the 80's on my GT World Tour. They came stock on the GT Zoot Scoot Scooter and would be a good fit for a Performer.
Suntour made them for GT.
Hope this helps:D

Re: No mallet stem

Go with a GT stamped Tuf Neck and convert it to potts mod if you want to rock. That would be different and true.
