Re: Finally!! A Powerlite Thread!! I've Been Waiting For One.

Just picked up a '91 P51 frame with a Dec 1990 serial, which I assume means it was made in Huntington Beach. The chrome is shot but it should make a solid rider, the frame only weighs 4.6lbs. I'm excited to be back on the wagon again, it's been like 6 years since I had a Powerlite cool

Hell, even if the chrome is shot, Got pictures? I’m thinking about unloading a few of my stored COQPIT framesets to get a early 90’s P61 or P51. Love them, post pictures when you can dude

Not mine but identical down to the last 3 digits of the serial.  I think these are some of the first frames off the new assembly line after the GT buyout.

Unfortunately mine didn't come with the fork.

Yeah, that frame is pretty rough shape and guy doesn’t know the year of the forks.

I found a nice one on eBay for $20 more and in much better shape but I don’t see it today. Must of sold

Need some powerlite help.  Mid-late 90's P17.   Were they all chromo or trimoly.

Threadless isn't "old school", sorry lol.  Thank you Linn Kastan, Scott Breithaupt, Bob Haro, Eddie Fiola, Martin Aparijo, Kevin Hull, Jose Yanez, Matt Hoffman & the rest for leading the way & keeping the flame lit.  Without you guys we'd have nothing.
