Even though you've stated you don't really like zd's they look pretty good with Sturmey's on a TS .

I went with Ukai rims. They have been on there a little while and I can see the rear wheel is a little dusty.

wheels look nice, but again flip the seat guts and change the seat to a black kashi aero or Hutch kashi

Re: Trying to figure out wheels for my Hutch Trick Star
i think after 2 years, that that is a a bad choice. I was expecting some black rims and white tyres.
Seat guts need sorting out as well.

Re: Trying to figure out wheels for my Hutch Trick Star
I went with Ukai rims because they were often sold with Trick Stars back in the day.
I like the seat guts like that, lol. I'm not changing them. I do realize that they are an eyesore for a lot of collectors, though, so I get it. It's not the worst thing that I have seen on a Trick Star.

Lavendar spokes on white or chrome rims.
I love the hutch lavendar mags and would use those on my future lavendar trick star in a heart beat.
Ah hell, I can't remember.

I'm on the verge of selling this bike, when that happens I will take more presentable pics. But for this purpose I'm OK with the background.

Re: Trying to figure out wheels for my Hutch Trick Star
I chose this seat because these bikes were being rode at various bike events and we are close to 50 now. This seat is probably the most comfortable seat that I had ever encountered in the 80's. So, it is period correct and comfortable, which works for us today.
For the record, this is my actual last Hutch rider. It is the last one that I did tricks on, and like the one in my avatar I built it how I wanted. I really do appreciate all of the comments though.
