This was my old garage. I moved in with my girlfriend in January of 2017, later that year we lost out house to the fires here in Santa Rosa, Ca.... Luckily almost all of my collection was in storage, I did lose a handful of my most prized bikes....

Fast forward to 2019, our new house has been built and we will be moving over the next week,, stay tuned for a more current pic....

Im married. Going on three years now. Been together five. My wife is unlike most. When I said I was selling out she literally said "you absolutely are not. BMX makes you happy. I want you to collect". True story. We have a Morton Building with central heat and ac that I build bikes/ work on them in and a spare bedroom upstairs that I keep them in. She's constantly asking why I dont put a couple in the living room. I am blessed for sure. She rides the hell out of her DK General Lee too and loves it.

Took current pics last night again.

Re: SHOW ME YOUR BIKE ROOMS!!

Well given what is printed on your t shirt in that last pic, Im thinking that perhaps her enthusiasm and support is not simply a result being lucky that she has an appreciation for BMX, but is influenced by your having benefitted from an entirely different type of luck!!!  lol

No room per se, just a space in the garage for now to get down and dirty.

Re: SHOW ME YOUR BIKE ROOMS!!

It just dawned on me that there may be a significant variable that differentiates you married guys with accepting wives: perhaps it helped that you had an established bmx interest and some sort of collection when you met your present mates.  So they had a priori kowledge of your passion for the hobby and thus theirs to accept or reject coming into their lives.

My interest returned of a quicklrly and intensely as a coincedence that occured when trying to find a bmx mini or pit for my then 4yo son.  He saw the moded Predator Ive had since 1983 and wanted one "...just like..." it, all shiney chrome plated and blingy.

The fire was reignited inside me.  And our space in our present home is maxed out l.  We are starting the process of having a larger house built on a roomier piece of property we have designated for that purpose.  That will help a lot.

And in keeping with the primary intent of this thread, here is a pic of the only part of my collection organized enough for me to post...
