What's more sustainable for heating homes, coal, wood, sod chunks like in Ireland. Gas , nuclear are not an option, nor wind  or water.
I'm thinking old school ways.

The problem with this theory is that  there are too many houses and businesses and structures in u.s.a. that require heat .  to use wood  for heating would mean no more redwood Forrest ,national forrests, state forrests,  and majority of woods and standing trees would be cut down faster than they can grow .  So if you cared about environment you can't say we can go back to wood and plus think of all the fires that would be burning 24/7  that amount of smoke would put us as bad as China's air quality.

replace heating with bags and this was the exact argument environmental nuts claimed was why we needed to go to plastic bags in the 70s. the great pacific trash heap is such a big problem because of the pressure from these people to move from paper to plastic.

yet wood is our only renewable material. a loblolly pine will grow from sapling to harvest maturity in less then 10 years and not that its genome has been completely mapped, new versions and hybrids are going to grow even faster.

Trees form the largest concentration of greenhouse gas potential on the planet.  Just saying.

I hear about this great trash island in the pacific all the time but I tried google earthing it and I can’t find anything. If I can find military bases and houses and basically anything on earth why can’t I find this Texas sized island? Can someone post a pic of it on here for me please?

Re: Global warming is a lie, snow

Looks like Canada is gonna pull out of Paris climate deal ,. It turns out you can't send your household garbage to  a 4 th world country like phillipines that in turns puts garbage into the Pacific ocean in massive amounts .  It's sorta like the klansman who is caught on CNN talking good about minorities and other races in a good way.  He gets kicked out of the klan......
