American X1 AL, can be seen tested in Snap
BTW that was the first time Timmy Strelicki ever rode or jumped an American.
Jumps were behind George Smoot's house in Placentia/Linda area.
We called the riding area Killer Hill BITD not sure what the new school guys called the place.

Re: Best Racing Bike of the Late 90s?

Clearly been a while since I logged in but this is a great topic-

I'd have to go with a '98 Robinson Pro XL. I was fortunate to have owned one, it was the best bike I ever built and raced. It was dressed to the 9's with Profile, GT, Sun, S&M, Tioga and Shimano parts. A sweet racing machine, a GD patriot of color and I loved the craftsmanship of it. GT sent me the frame after I cracked the head tube on my '97 Mach Two. It was a total surprise as I thought I'd be getting another recalled Mach Two.

So many nostalgic bikes from the mid-late 90's. I did always want a '97 Box Series, a '98 Pro Series and a Group One Ali.

Remember how awesome we all used to be?

Cool thread. Rather than saying "marked" I will say 1995 Auburn CR-20RX

My votes for this just b/c I like Auburns.

Alu quad.

If you haven't seen the magical stars floating around whilst lying face down in the mud you ain't lived.
