That is incredible!  I'm also in for if she wants some cash work.

Just a thought on the original sharpie work -- maybe a base coat of Krylon Fixative?  I don't know if/how this would react with harsher topcoats.  Paint guys might have more insight.

My go-to is matte acrylic clear coat. Light layers to seal it. Leave it alone for while. Top coat it at a later date to get a more even finish.

I just talked my niece into doing one of these frames for me, she's a very talented artist.

She agreed, then 3 days later told me she is moving from CA up to Oregon.  sad

Maybe I'll just have her take it with her and pay to have it shipped later.  Such a cool idea for a unique BMX project.
