Re: My son's first score!

I have a set of OGK 5 spoke directionals in white. They need to be scrubbed and axles pulled and greased.Ugh! He wants mags with certainty. I may pull the mags off my T/A to give him.

Re: My son's first score!

Sounds like its coming aling great!! Only drawback to white mags is that they will NEVER be as bright as the paint.. I had a set of NOS white z rims.. Black tires and chrime spokes.. They popped out nicely! I put them on a white frameset and it looked terrible.. Maybe a nice set of blue tuffs..
Somethin to think about.. Good luck with the bike! Cant wait to see a puc of him on it!!

Re: My son's first score!

So here is the almost finished build. Last minute stuff to sew up before my son rides it.

Thanks to Pat and Paul and Chaby, and Billy at Octoberfest of BMX (And Dynomike for the event), it was complete.

Re: My son's first score!

Son looks chuffed with his new build. And not for me to be spending more of your coin, but someone mentioned blue tuffs would pop, and I just happened to have this pic laying about. Blue tuffs would look awesome....coolbig_smile

Mmmmm.  That does look nice.  Maybe the next owner will explore that.  It is currently up for PIF.
