These mags are so gorgeous... I've always been a fan of Peregrine products since I got a  87 Master with a 1stgen 3 pc and 1.5 Q Bars.

I just pulled these Masters off of Kuwa Bravo I had got and had a quick question for you... Are these Lavenders, Shocking Pinks or Radberries that have faded this much?

If you look down into the hub you can still see sections of a pinkish color down in there as well

Here's a picture with the tire/tube off...

The pink is also slightly visible in different sections of the mags where it looks more pink than Radberry.

2nd question is if they are Radberries or Shocking Pinks, can I ever get them back to that color again?  Also going to pose this question directly to Butterglc and see what he thinks, Thanks ahead of time!

those are sweet, try rubbing peanut butter on them!!!  serious, lol. i did it to a blue set of tuffs and worked great.  theres a thread on mag restoration i put pics in. put it on in a small spot and let it sit for a couple min then wipe it off, if it doesnt work for yours then you could try a heat gun but be very careful

Just want to let everyone know, when I list something for sale PLEASE ready the description completely and follow the directions so there isn’t any issues! When members call dibs and then disappear it holds the item up for someone who is ready to purchase said item.

Re: Peregrine Mag colors.... shall we ?

Are these considered turquoise? Or teal? Or? They matched the green in the rl20ii decals perfectly.

My old eyes can't read it either. I did find that this topic was discussed recently over on vintage and it looks like the ads referred to this green or green-blue color as Aqua Lagoon.

I would eventually like to put together another radsberry RL20II with turquoise peregrine mags.

You are correct there is another thread on the colors on there a member posted the name of the original colors as per Peregrine

You can see my old Peregrine Master collection o that Thread, I had every color except the clear ones on that picture even the RED...

I have to think the peanut butter trick has to do with the oil in it, probably a better way to go about that one

Re: Peregrine Mag colors.... shall we ?

SmokinEndo wrote:

Oh and the deal on the Graphite Composite lettering and such is simply different generations of said wheel. Peregrine got in trouble for ever calling them Graphite Composite and they were forced to remove it from their mag wheel line. Graphite composite is what Skyway Graphite's are made out of and if you've ever seen them in person you've seen the gold and black fibers in the graphite material. Graphite in a Black material and they were making bright white wheels that read Graphite Composite right on the side, everyone who knew anything about graphite knew it was fake and it didn't last long.

and there are different locations for the lettered stampings too some are on the fin of plastic that sticks up in-between each mag blade and some are on the outer lip where the brake pads would be applied. Some say Peregrine Master Graphite Composite and some just Peregrine. Plus if there are some with no labels at all there is a chance that pads have rubbed it away over the years ? There are also a couple different hub variations. There is one with 10 straight bars of plastic that are all of equal height and there are some where the height of every other plastic bar is high and low this can clearly be seen in the catalog scan posted above. The Shocking Picks are the only one with 10 of equal height pictured which I believe are from the later mags and probably have the stamped letters on the in-sides

now I feel like I'm in incoherently rambling LOL

Let me post this and re-read it then I'll be back with more big_smile God it's late....

I am not a scientist but graphite is a carbon.  And composite means made up of various parts and elements.  The Peregrine Master mags are most likely more nylon then graphite.  They make nylon and carbon based materials in color now.  Here is a white nylon and carbon gear....
