Been working on it. Aluminum radiator support, shaved wipers system, driveshaft loop and etc, to get it ready for 10s this spring.

2014 Bought new. I was driving my wife to the Airport, saw this out front of the dealership and had to have it. Never did that before in my life.

Re: Show Me Your Ride That You Drive!
Posted this a while back in another thread but it's had a little work done since then.
I've fitted a cold air induction kit (I know they don't make much difference but I'm a sucker for the sound they make), had the front wishbones fitted with stiffer bushes and had the ECU remapped. It is now a real middle aged Dad's sleeper!
2.5 litre (massive 153 cu in!) turbo charged straight 5 engine. Previously 210bhp, now 252bhp with 302ft/lbs of torque. It's 16 years old with 75,000miles on it. I've had it eight years, it's a manual and great fun. Things happen very quickly in second gear.

Re: Show Me Your Ride That You Drive!
What did you ran your Vette @ 1/8? I ran 7.6 sec @ 92 mph with several issues. Going to hit 6.5s in 1/8 this spring with my truck.

I’ve seen car go wheelie like that and went 6s because car is light weight like this Vette.
My truck WILL go 6s in 1/8 with no queer trailer at all. I drive it to the track and back to home which 25 minutes a way. Trailer sucks no fun & waste time. Lol

I have run 6.18 in the 1/8th. Seemed more impressive in 2010 then now. Soon a average sports car hybrid will run that off the dealer lot for 50k new. Times are changing and it takes way more to push. Older vehicle with older technology down the 1320

Re: Show Me Your Ride That You Drive!
Oh I mean 1320. That all we race over here. I have never been to a 1/8 Mile track. I just know the timeslip for 1/8 cause it is listed on 1320 slip. Just trying to relate to those here.
