How do you like the Thickslick tires?

For me their definitely a better tire than stock. Much smoother running than, but that's a given since there's no resistance from threads. But more surprising is they grip better. For example, on the og tires when I would ride up a a curb at an angle the tires would slip just a bit as I rode up but these dont.

I only have the one, but I also have a Block's Flyer that I ride more often than my Big Ripper.

Re: BIG RIPPER THREAD

I picked up this ripper for next to nothing. Not my favorite Ripper color scheme but it’s fun to ride!

Re: BIG RIPPER THREAD

Guess I'm a member of the club now.  I picked up the '19 Big Ripper Performance Bicycle was passing around from store to store like a $20 Hooker.  I'm surprised they discounted it more instead of just sending it back.  It was 40% off today, and has a tiny paint chip so they let me have it for $399.  I've spent so much money there in the last month my credit cards are still smoking.

Re: BIG RIPPER THREAD

Just out of curiosity, why are people parting out brand new Big Rippers on eBay?  Is there money in that?  I'm not sure what the demand would be for single parts.  Seems like everything is designed to fit just this bike.

When they upgrade to better parts they try to sell the stock parts and recoup some $. smile
The stock parts aren't the best quality, and the new complete bike prices reflect that.

Re: BIG RIPPER THREAD

I'm looking to buy a Big Ripper soon but have a couple questions. How tall are you guys? I'm 5'8" wonder if it will fit me right.
Also where's the best place/price to get one online?

What I’m selling: https://bmxmuseum.com/forsale/user/2547

What I want/need:
Black&Pink A'ME unitron or Oakley B1B; OG Redline Techmatic BB; Black Elina Flytetech seat (2);ACS RL Edge Hub

I'm a notoriously slow shipper. Please have patience. You WILL get what you pay for. Thank you.

I've only ridden mine a little bit.  I'm 5'8" too.  It's a big bike, but the geometry is such that it will fit a wide range of people with a few adjustments.  I don't feel like it's too big for me.

Re: BIG RIPPER THREAD

I’m 6’5” so the ripper is perfect. Obviously the 20” bikes present a size issue for me but that doesn’t stop me from riding them.
