1983 SE Racing Quadangle

An Iconic color & Design from SE........

I have known of this Frame & ridden it many times when I was younger, in 84ish , owned by a guy a bit older than me that used to ride at the same gully jumps that I did..
I grew up becoming mates with this guy & only about 5 yrs back he mentioned that he still had it & asked if I wanted it, the rest is answered in the pics, lets just say I took it.......
 
Here is a breakdown of the SPECS -

Frame -      1982 Reynolds 531 Cro-Mo.

Forks -      JC Unstamped Landing Gears.

Stem -      Pro Neck.

Bars -      DB Leary Turbo's w/Uni Hand Grenade's.

Brakes -      Tourney Pre-Bent With MX1000s & Skyway Finned Pads"All NOS"

Seat, Post n Clamp -      Elina.  Fluted Post with ACS Clamp "All NOS"

Wheels -      New 7x With "RARE" Tioga Licenced Sealed Hubs n DT spokes n Nipples "All NOS"

Cranks n BB -      NOS SR Turbox 175mm w/Hatta BB.

Chainwheel n Spider -      NOS Sugino.

Pedals -      NOS KKT Stu Thompson rat Traps.

Awesome Quad and a color combo to match. There's been way too many baby blue Quads with the same color combos, mostly all black parts (yawn), but this one is truly special. I also totally dig that you chose to use opc.

These came out as a complete with OPC & many known pro's still ran them well into there careers...
