Cap your axles with anything, but I use water caps or bottle caps. Cap the drop outs as well if you are shipping without the rear wheel(fed ex will bend your drop outs!)

I ship worldwide but Malaysian residents will pay more for shipping on some items. Your country does not track First Class packages so for items that would normally ship first class, the item will have to ship priority to your country. Thank you for your understanding.

Re: How To Pack & Ship BMX Stuff

SAVE THE PITBULLS!!!! Best way to pack a pit.

Add the spacer to the pivot bolt that way you can tighten down/ secure the adjuster arm. Turn pads sideways.

Re: How To Pack & Ship BMX Stuff

Darn straight. If you have no other choice to pack bars like that, place a 20 oz bottle cap on each bar end, hold it as best as you can then place a bubble flat rate envelope over each side. Then tape around the bottle caps to keep them secure. Place one in the middle as well, just cut the bottom off of the envelope and then slide the sleeve in the middle of the bars. Then tape the two side envelopes to the middle sleeve. I will post a picture next time I pack a pair. I don't pack them like this, but hey it can be done.

I just updated my complete packing method to save the customer time and effort. This is primarily due to there not being much price difference using bike flights on wider packages. Rather than removing the brake cable from the lever/levers and pulling the post, simply leaving them is best.

Re: How To Pack & Ship BMX Stuff

Dealing with a bikeflights issue, where in short an additional $50 'customs possessing' fee is being tacked onto the shipping cost. (Fee I have been told is standard and added onto all international shipments, regardless if the shipment is a gift, standard, retail, etc)  I've requested a refund of my original payment of the shipping quote, and bikeflights has responded and initiated a refund to me. This extra fee was not disclosed up front. Possibly in -10 font, ...who knows.

Just a headsup in case you are considering using bikeflights to ship international.
