1992 Crown Bike
1992 Crown Bike
Unlisted 1992 Crown Brand BMX Bike First In The Museum
This is a very cheaply made bike but still a BMX bike. The bike is all original except for the back rim. The seat dates the bike to 1992, if you can't see the seat it reads BMX 1992 on the side. A bit torn off, but I don't think I will find a replacement. The cotter cranks and the color scheme looks right out of the 60's. Hard to believe it's a 1992. This originally had a chain guard, the rear wheel was not a caster brake, but an actual free wheel. Still working on improving the reflectors. I picked this up at a goodwill store and traded the rear rim for some other parts. I never thought I would take any interest in the bike, and now that I did I kind of like it. The bike is not a cycle pro. I just had to check something in order to submit the form. Crown Bikes is not an option on the drop down menu.

Re: 1992 Crown Bike
Thanks, it really is a pretty cool bike. I love the decals, and if I didn't have so many more projects I would beef it up a bit.

Re: 1992 Crown Bike
I had one of these bikes as a kid. It was pretty light. I abused it pretty heavily by jumping. The frame finally broke at the stem. It was awesome to see pics of this thing. I really appreciate you posting.

I have a girls version, also a 1992, must have been one year only and very few produced because your bike is the only other one I can.
